Not sure if this is a suggestion place, but I'm going to post anyway. It would be nice if there were some added surveillance in the back parking lot, including cameras. I have experienced two separate occurences in the past two months which have cost me approximately $2500 in damage to my car. I reported both to the office. I love the Round-Up, its bartenders and service staff. Feeling that my vehicle was safe in the parking lot would just make that experience like it used to be, carefree and that much more fun. I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky, or if this is a growing problem. I just wanted to bring the situation to light so that the bar can be improved.
Thanks guys,
Matt

I have grown up in Dallas, lived away for numerous years, and moved back about 4 yrs ago. Round Up has always been a great bar.
However, the "dancers" you used this past Sunday evening were absolutely horrible. They may be nice guys (I didn't want to get too close - and neither did anyone else for the hour and a half I was there), but were much to be desired in the "looks" department. I'm not the most handsome guy, but I know what I (and apparently everyone else at RU that stayed away from these guys) want from a "dancer": good looks. It also wouldn't hurt for them to see a gym (or put down the burrito, for that matter) once in awhile. I took along out-of-town guest and they laughed the entire time that a bar in Dallas would parade something so low caliber. C'mon! This is the same bar that BLOWS AWAY the competition with halloween decorations and has the nicest staff (TJ!). I know you can do better!

Always go to the Round-Up for Karaoke when I am in Dallas, with "The World Famous Lipizzaner Stallion Show". The Hosts are fun and good-lookin', and I get "Whiskey for my men, and Beer for my Horses"!

Hi Rich - The Round-Up has two Wi-Fi systems in place - one is a private, "secure" network (SSID: "TavernTrak@Round-Up") that is used for Round-Up business purposes - and another "open" network (with faster internet, FYI) for the use of our guests. The SSID for this public network is "Round-Up Saloon". Next time you're visiting us, try connecting to the public network and see if you don't have better luck. If it asks you for a password, then you're trying to connect to the private network.

We go to the roundup all the time and have a good time. We were disappointed that round up has wifi but no one in the bar can give you the password. Is it being offered tlo customers or not. We noticed most of the other bars had to find someone who knew it but they did retrieve it.

Went to the roundup with my two straight brothers and my mother last night who were visiting from out of town. We all had a great time and the Bartender named TJ really made them feel welcome and comfortable. Turns out he is from our home state. Thank you to the roundup and TJ for making sure I was able to show my family a great time in Dallas.

Hey guys: If you're trying to respond to someone else's comments, and you've had trouble getting it published: Watch your language. Keep it civil. Resist the urge to yell or curse. Call it a "family" website, if you will. Just remember, if someone is complaining about a problem, they are entitled. We would hope that it's fair and reasonable also. The Round Up will do its best to work it out!

I have enjoyed the Round UP for years, since back in college and coming out.. I was there saturday nite, and had a real bad experience with a bartender named TJ.. as a business owner, it was pretty disappointing to be in line for about 10 minutes waiting on drinks for myself and a bud, to be ignored by a bartender, while he went to others around me who just walked up to the bar.. when i calmly told TJ, he was really rude, and told me "do you want a drink or not". I said, "I am just makin you aware of how you are treating someone who has patiently waiting", he said, "you are being rude. You can go down there and get a drink", pointing at the other end of the bar.. I looked shocked I am sure, as i had really already waited for some time...He then said do you want a drink or not. When i made my order, he smirked and laughed, looking at acouple of guys nearby, which really, would never be acceptable in my own business.. My clients are are my guests...
I asked the DJ who the bartender was, and thus, my message to you...I wouldnt say i am a weekly regular at the roundup, but it has certainly been a fixture in my life, when wanting to get away from the hustle and business of my life...never, ever, have i been talked to nor been treated so rudely... pretty damn disappointed...I dont think this is the usual protocol of the Round UP nor its staff...but a bummer experience nonetheless..
