WINTER WEATHER – OPERATING GUIDELINES & PROCESSES

In the event winter precipitation is possible during the operating hours of the club, extra care must be taken to insure the safety of our staff and our guests.

At the first sign of precipitation:

  • Advise the MOD of the precipitation starting.
  • The upper deck of the patio is to be cleared of customers, bussed of glassware and the trash should be brought down. The upper loft is to be closed and physically blocked to prevent customers from climbing the stairs and accessing the area.
  • The MOD shall print out a “Snow & Ice Removal & Treatment Log” and at least once per hour should inspect the areas listed on the log and verify that they are clear of slick surfaces, have been treated by our ice melt material (if necessary), and do not pose a threat to our staff or customers. These inspections and application of ice melt material shall be logged on the Snow & Ice Removal & Treatment Log, and attached to the Paid Outs Log at the end of the night.
  • The appropriate cold weather closing procedure shall be followed to ensure the safety of the club infrastructure to prevent the freezing temperature from damaging water lines, faucets, juice guns, etc.
  • Should any snow/ice removal supplies (ice melt material) need to be replenished, the MOD shall make this request to “ordering@roundupsaloon.com”.
